Last summer we stopped in at a barn sale in the middle of nowhere.
We had a wenture, which is what we call an adventure.
Horse Girl came up with that when she was three or four ???
She was just a tiny little thing and decided she liked wentures, too.
These letters were full of wasp nests and the O had occupants, but I was determined to have them.
My problem now is this...they are huge and I have no idea where to hang them.
I took out all the old broken neon bits and plan to light them somehow.
Rope lights? Christmas lights? Single bulb?
I also can't decide if I want to paint them or leave them black and white.
So they just sit in the floor in the black hole of my sewing room.
I can always spell SOPH for my little Sophie girl.
We had HO out for Christmas.
I have to decide before they are hung because they are large and I only want to do it one time.
Someone please make a decision for me.
I beg you.
Before I have a hissy fit and load up for the Goodwill.

I vote for POS for point of sale... But that's just me.
ReplyDeleteSecond vote: posh. Because you are posh.. Your style , plus a cozy factor. There is no word for that yet..that I am aware of!
Told my nephew about the RunPee app today...thank you!!
Have had a busy week of seeing family and peeps post mortem/migraine.
Hope you are well!!

I vote for SHOP. Is there any way you can add hardware to the back of the letters so you can change them around at will?
ReplyDeletei like the 'ho' for christmas, 'hop' for easter, 'so' for when you're feeling impudent, and 'po' for anytime you want to be left alone. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are so cool! Here in Texas we'd do "sop" if we were serving gravy and biscuits...but "shop" is still my favorite. I mean, with it written in big letters on your wall, that's official permission, right?
ReplyDeleteOhh fun letters! I love "shop" or "posh". Or you could just put random letters in interesting places just to mess with people. (I wouldn't paint them either. They look pretty yummy just the way they...and you know how much I love paint!)
ReplyDeleteThose are cool! I like 'POSH' and I wouldn't paint them. They look great. I've been wanting to get those big letters at Anthropologie for ages so I can spell out EAT in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThey're really cute. But I'm on a purge kick. S-H-O-P wouldn't stand a chance with me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise. Letters, Well, let me think. I guess shop, since that is a good thing. I'm sure you'll make the right decision! Thanks for sharing at Simple & Sweet Fridays.

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteYour corner looks wonderful. My pants are on fire over here with too much going on, but that puppy of ours makes life beautiful. He is 9 weeks now and the sweeeeeetest little man. We are so happy he is ours. No chewing or accidents yet! I think he's too "new" to get into mischief yet, but we'll see.. Updated pics coming this weekend.
