You guys know how much I love cake.
So it makes perfect sense that I also love these beautiful custom made cake testers
by Beth Christine.
I forgot to take a photo testing my whole cake, so I'm sharing the after event.

Some of you may know that Beth has a famous mom,
Bliss from Bliss Ranch.
She's not the only one with talent in the family.
Yes, this cake is done. So done. As in gone in 60 seconds done.
Beth calls them 'Kitchen Jewelry" and they are.
The glass beads are gorgeous!
I love her card...."peddling my goods and wares to pay for gas to college".
Cute, cute, cute.
one30onedesign is her blog.
Go visit this sweet girl if you are in the market for kitchen pretties.
I admire young people who have the ambition to take their creativity
and put it out there for the world to see.
Bliss has trained her daughter well. ; )
I'm keeping mine out for display- they are too pretty to reside inside a drawer.
I can think of so many uses for these while they aren't poking cakes.
Can't you?
Poking my husband comes to mind...sometimes he's a bit slow with my coffee. ;)
Looking forward to seeing Beth's earrings coming soon.
Love! It took me a sec to figure out the beautiful jewelry was a thermometer!
ReplyDeleteI had wondered "is TOT now bedazzling her cakes? Always one step ahead! The Martha Stewart of the south!"
I'm headed to her website and I love the (figurative) balls behind the business card! Made my day!
Xo
TOT

ReplyDeleteI have one of those gorgeous testers and they're wonderful! She hand makes each one! Yay! Now she will have more gas!!! Wait, that doesn't sound right....you know what I mean!

ReplyDeleteWow, those are gorgeous! I would not hide them in a drawer, either. What a clever and creative idea!
ReplyDeletewow - these are beautiful. terrific idea to make a cake tester that doubles as an adornment. I went to her site and I love everything there. Definitely need to order one of these. I've been using a wire stick type thing with a plastic handle that says "CAKE TESTER". Blah. Does the job, but where's the fun in that? Thanks for sharing this T.! xo
ReplyDeleteWell I'm not so sure Beth's mom is famous, but i know for a fact these cake testers work like she says they will. Too bad my azz is so big it's gonna be a while before I can have cake again.
ReplyDeleteBliss, The Famous
