I was in a creative mood today.
I love gathering my keeps from around the house and putting them together
to create a happy little moment.
A rusty urn slathered in AS Old White...
filled with soft green moss, fresh rosemary, faux dusty miller and a white pattypan squash.
The woodland fairy hangs from a sunflower and holds a pale aqua velvet acorn that I made this morning.
She's waiting...like all of us.
"I know you'll never catch me
I am fast and I can fly
With magic in my pocket
I fly high into the sky."

I love your Fairy urn! And I love the new header too!
ReplyDeleteCool acorn and I love her leaf wings:@)
ReplyDeleteOh, my, Tina. What a wonderful piece you've created. My two granddaughters have fairy gardens, and I just know that this is exactly the kind of fairy they'd love to attract to live with them! As for me...acorns are my downfall. She's a beauty, indeed. Thank you for sharing more inspiration. Fall (even in FL) is my favorite time of year.

That is a festive little keepsie there!
ReplyDeleteat least she's not a scary rabbit!
ReplyDeleteLook at you, keeping things fresh and fun as always! :) Your fairy garden has such an enticing, magical quality. Your new header is a great reminder about letting go. I need to continue letting go so I can function better. Just deciding what exactly needs to stay and what can go is the hard part. :)

Gorgeous photos T. I would like to ask our fairy friend for a pony. And i'd like Johnny Depp to be riding it. And holding a glass of pinot for me. Too much?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness....I think I need a Fall Fairy here! This is beautiful

Love your fairy! I've been saving popsicle sticks to make a "fairy door" to attach to one of the trees in the back yard while my grandsons are at school...and then let them find it on their own.
