Dear Lady Bug,
Why are you in my coffee cup?
I almost killed you with hot espresso.
I'm thinking you must be a rebel...a risk taking Lady Bug.
I have news for you...you will not win against the machine.
I scooped her up and took her outside to the lemon tree.
I think she'll be happy there.
Although she'd be pretty here.
Autumn... the year's last, loveliest smile.

Hoping it's a beautiful autumn day wherever you are!
Beautiful photos! I'm hoping she's happy outside now. :)

ReplyDeleteour last pretty 70s day for a while, i think. gonna get nippy tomorrow!
You are such a good person to save the ladybug. :-) I'm sure she'll be happier on the lemon tree than on in the espresso. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteIt was a beauteous day...but the arctic air is moving in; it has dropped 10 degrees in the last hour.
ReplyDeleteGlad you saw her before you had a little extra protein with your breakfast:@)
ReplyDeleteI think your ladybug was suffering from caffeine withdrawal!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of your fall weather, Tina. We've got a few inches of snow that looks like it's here to stay.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteare you sure she wasn't trying to get her morning buzzzzz on? I know I need mine! If no coffee, a nice leaf to relax on is the next best thing! We had a beautiful day today but tomorrow, the weather's supposed to drop and we may have flurries!
Rebecca

ReplyDeleteLook at you...rescuer of suicidal lady bugs! I'm not surprised. I love your pics and stole one of them from this post for my desk top! Makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteDear Tina, don't mean to snow on your parade, but our fall came disguised as winter. I believe all of our lady bugs have migrated, or whatever lady bugs do for cold weather...
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos Tina! and you know, ladybugs are good luck!!
ReplyDeleteCan you just take all my pictures for, you know, like EVER? Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAwww! so sweet! happy days to you!
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest pumpkin stalk thing I've ever seen in my life. Gorgeous photos!!! There was a bug I failed to see (not a lady) in a glass at my parents' house and I before I could stop, I drank it.

OK…that last pic could be in a magazine!! I'm not sure how intelligent ladybugs are….although she was smart enough to choose coffee…that says something.
