You've got the best back yard visitors, Tina! I love your idea of wiring the corn cob to the branch. I have a wire holder, but the squirrels have figured out how to pull the whole cob out and drag the thing who knows where!

Mourning Doves are my favorite - lovely photos of them. Unfortunately, there is now a hunting season for them in Minnesota. We don't see (or hear) many of them anymore. :(
such wonderful photography, tina! our backyard is a heavy wooded hill, full of squirrels that entertain us for hours:) but i've never gotten close enough to take pics as great as yours.
Okay I'm going to go all rogue here but squirrels are NOT my friends LMHO - gorgeous photos - and they really are cute - but after 2 of them clawed their way in through my kitchen screen last year and started munching fruit from my fruit bowl - they are officially my enemies! And I don't like the ground dog that lives in my backyard either. Or the ducks that swam in my pool. Or the skunks that saunter in and out in the evening! But I ADORE the Cardinals ( that the grackles scare off every single time they come to visit ) There, my rant is over, and your photos look like they belong in a magazine !!! XOXO
Oooh!I just love your lady cardinal! There is currently a bluebird I am stalking to try to get a picture of (preferably not an action shot of him pooping on my deck umbrella). Love the pooches!
Awwww. How do you get those bird shots? They are so nice. I have a really old wooden bird house with lots of rooms in my back yard. Recently I noticed that the holes were getting bigger and bigger - now I have a squirrel hotel.
Just lovely! I love your dog pics and the birds especially. I am just returning to my bog after a rough patch. I posted several bird photos too. I'd love it if you pay me a visit.
Hi Tina! I've been missing in action! lol With Easter, my dad turning 70 and house hunting, I've been busy! Have missed seeing you and I was just visiting your blog and told my son's girlfriend about Jack, so I was searching for a puppy pic of him and found this post....love this post! These are some of the sweetest photos I've ever seen of our wildlife friends!! Hope things are going very well for you and yours. hugs dear friend, Marie
